Transvaal specialized collection in mounts inside a clean Oriel album with slipcase, over 300 mint or used stamps from 1869 to 1907, most identified by Gibbons or Scott number, includes color, surcharge, and overprint varieties, and better issues such as used 1892 five pound definitive, Lyndenburg 1p, and 3p/1p with long tailed "R" in "V.R.I." , each on small piece and tied by full, army post office c.d.s., mint o.g. 1878 1sh Victoria, 1886 1p E. H. Bakker Express-Marabastad block of eight, mint includes h.r., l.h., and unused, condition is rather mixed, forgeries are interspersed with the genuine among the First Republics, many fine or better.
