Orange River Colony extensive specialized collection to 1908 in an Oriel album, in a study of overprints on loose album pages, and in 2 Lighthouse stockbooks, hundreds of mint or used stamps, including revenue and telegraph stamps, a complete Hochapfel approval sheet, plus three covers and a postal card, most identified by Gibbons number, including many Orange Free State shade and surcharge varieties, provisional overprints for postal cards, and better issues such as mint 1903-4 and 1907-8 King Edward VII sets, and 1/2p to 5sh specimens of same, mint includes h.r, l.h. o.g., occasional minor fault, several stamps on the album pages are stuck down but salvageable, an impressive assemblage that would be hard to duplicate, many fine and better.
