#231 var., 1907 £2 Dull blue, perf. 11, a wonderfully well centered example of this high value, attractive color on bright paper, o.g., extremely fine; this last issue, produced during the Federation period of Australian States, was issued in 1906 in perf. 12 1/2 and then again in 1907 in perf. 11, this latter perforation being much scarcer, particularly in this select quanity (S.G. #445; £1,100).
