#12P, 1880 1/- Bister imperforate plate proof on gummed paper watermarked Crown and CC in the issued color, large margins all around, o.g., lightly hinged , extremely fine; Scott lists an imperforate as an "a" variety without price but it is our opinion that the imperforate is a plate proof as we have listed and very scarce (for S.G. #12P)
