#9b, 1897 1/2p Jubilee, triple overprint, a magnificently well centered stamp showing three distinct overprints of equal strength, amazingly fresh with brilliant colors, pristine original gum being never hinged, simply superb; not only is the condition of this stamp virtually beyond improvement, the rarity of this stamp is even more impressive as this is the only known example of this triple overprint mint or used; the catalog values reflect neither the rarity nor the condition; the only available example of a wonderful rarity; 2007 B.P.A. certificate (S.G. #9b; £5,5000+ for hinged).
