#2, 1880 1p Red, overprinted "CYPRUS", the rare plate 174, a fresh mint example of one of the most elusive of all the various plate numbers of this issue, deep rich color, o.g., usual minor gum creasing, very fine for this; signed A. Brun and H. Bloch, as well as being accompanied by a 1981 RPS certificate (S.G. #2; £1,400.00).
