Compact and valuable mint and used stock with strength in nineteenth century, many hundreds of mint and used singles, and a few multiples, neatly arranged on stock pages, with quantities up to six or seven apiece, starts with several Postmaster´s Provisionals and continues with 1847 issues, 1851s to 12c, 1857s to 30c including better 1c types, 1861s to 90c and grills to 30c, 1869s to 90c, Bank Notes to 90c, with all the previous containing a surprising number of mint or unused examples, with even some n.h. and better cancels, then virtually all mint, with small Bank Notes to 90c, unwatermarked Bureaus to 50c, watermarked Bureaus to $1.00 and a used $5.00, 1902 issue to 50c, plus scattered Washington-Franklins, 1922 issues, some commemoratives, air mails and special deliveries, condition varies but is superior to what is typically found in a stock, some small faults, no gum or regummed, however a great many are o.g., l.h., n.h. and used, very good to very fine; a desirable holding worth of a careful evaluation as the catalog value is quite substantial; seventeen certificates accompany.
