2a. green cancelled by diamond of dots on 1855 (Sept.) envelope (233x95mm) from Madras to Trichinopoly and showing Madras Bearing datestamp on face with manuscript "8A" alongside, the reverse with Madras Paid and Trichinopoly Bearing datestamps; a couple of small faults on cover and stamp though an unusual frankings with these Paid and Unpaid datestamps.
