1897 (27 Feb.) printed soldiers envelope "From No. 3230 Pte. G.S. Thompson. 1st. Batt. Lincolnshire Regt." to England, countersigned by the Commanding Officer and bearing 1896 30pa. cancelled by Polymedia c.d.s., the reverse with Limassol (27.2) and Kings Lynn (8.3) c.d.s.; some faults, including small portions torn away though a presentable example of this rare concessionary rate, only three of which are recorded in the Cyprus handbook during the 1890's, the other two being from Troodos.
