Regiment Canadian Mounted Rifles to Woodstock, New Brunswick, marked "On Active Service No Stamps" and showing part Cape Town F.P.O. c.d.s. and London Paid c.d.s. (27.6); a very rare cover from a member of the 4th. Contingent. Photo
Note: "C" and "D" Squadrons of 4th, Regiment sailed from Halifax on S.S. "Winifredian" on 17 May, arriving at Cape Town on 8 June and reached Durban on 11 June. The unit left Durban on 1 July having been in South Africa for just 23 days
