2nd. Regiment, Canadian Mounted Rifles
1901 (20 Dec.) Y.M.C.A. Army envelope (not recorded by Rowe) from Halifax to England, bearing 2c. with duplex, one of the early arrivals who sailed on the S.S. Manhatten, and 1902 (29 Jan.) regimental crested envelope from Capt. R.G.E. Lecke, who sailed on the S.S. Victorian, in Halifax to Paris (address re-written over faint original) and redirected to Nice, bearing 5c. with duplex and light arrival c.d.s. on reverse

Note: The squadrons that travelled on the S.S. "Victorian" were exposed to smallpox on the voyage and remained in quarantine until mid-March
