1900 (10 Feb.) envelope (complete with letter with wishes of good luck) from Kelowna to Trooper C. Nicholson, then at Ottawa bound for Halifax and who sailed on the S.S. Monteray, and 1900 (11 Apr.) OHMS "Militia Form C.71." envelope to Lt. Col. Ponton, who attended Quebec farewell parade, in Belleville, marked "On Active Service" and with a good strike of the oval-framed "canadian contingent/south africa" datestamp in red, Kingston (7.5) and Belleville (7.5) c.d.s. on reverse
