1900 (18 Feb.) unstamped envelope with "we are proud of you boys safe return home again." patriotic message on inside of flap, from A.W.M. Campbell to Prince Albert, Ontario, believed to have been mailed from S.S. Laurentian during it's short stopover at St. Vincent, Cape Verde Islands and showing Paid Liverpool Packet and Paquebot Liverpool c.d.s. (both 18.2) and superb "missent-to" handstamp above Prince Albert c.d.s. (9.3). Rare and most unusual, being one of only two examples of this patriotic envelope recorded. Photo
