Jones of "G" Company at Springs, Transvaal, to New Brunswick, marked "No stamps available" and showing F.P.O. c.d.s. and light largely fine oval-framed "canadian contingent/south africa" datestamp (18.6) in lilac, arrival c.d.s. (18.7) on reverse; an interesting cover from Lt. Jones who received the first white flag of surrender at the battle of Paardeberg
