1900 (2 Apr.) envelope to Ottawa, bearing G.B. 4d. green and brown neatly cancelled by F.P.O. single-ring c.d.s. and showing a fine strike of the oval-framed "canadian contingent/south africa" datestamp in red at left, the reverse with Ottawa and House of Commons (in blue) c.d.s. for 7 May.
