1896 (7 July) Egypt 5m. carmine envelope (H&G 6), ex the Sloggett correspondence from Wadi Halfa to London, uprated with 5m. rose-carmine, both cancelled with Wadi Halfa Camp c.d.s. with a further strike below, upon arrival redirected to Tunbridge Wells and showing part Paddington duplex (21.7) on face, Alexandria, Paddington and arrival (21.7) c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope with trivial imperfections though a scarce usage of Egyptian stationery and stamps during the Dongola Campaign.
