1805 (6 Feb.) entire letter to London, redirected to Bristol with a fine strike of "antigua/feb 27 1805" (Proud PS14, showing traces of the outer circle) and "newbury/58" mileage marking, a variety of manuscript rate markings; the letter, written on the Schooner Vigilante, informs the addressee of the death of her son from fever. Filing fold and staining on the front, though an interesting and poignant letter. Photo
