La Hispano Suiza Fabrica de Automóviles S.A., 500 peseta share, 7th issue, Barcelona 1918, no.16894, full length vignette of female in 'art nouveau' style, motor car in background, black, dark green and red, coupons removed from right edge, good very fine.
A collaboration between J. Castro and Swiss engineer Marc Birkigt the company built top quality motor cars and aircraft engines. It sold off its automotive division in 1946 concentrating on engines and armaments.
