Leeds and Thirsk Railway Company, certificate for one share, 1845, no.15434, black on vellum, good very fine.

The company was incorporated in 1845 to connect the towns by rail. In 1851 the name was changed to the Leeds Northern and it eventually passed over to the North Eastern Railway.
