A fascinating collection relating to 2/Lt. Percy Bourne Ross of the North Staffordshire Regiment who was captured by the Germans at Lens in July 1917, including telegrams to Mrs. Ross informing her that her husband is missing in action and later reported prisoner at Karlsruhe, newspaper clippings, letters from the Red Cross, prison camp money, parole pass, real photographs of the camp and inmates at Freiburg, theatre programmes, mimeographed "A message to you from the King", post release with enquires into the circumstances of capture, etc., mixed condition but a wonderful group
