1895 (22 Dec.) envelope registered from Freetown to Bonthe, Sherbro, bearing 1884-91 1d. carmine and 3d. yellow each cancelled with c.d.s. and with arrival c.d.s. (24.12) alongside, "R" in oval h.s. and a further Freetown c.d.s. at foot, the reverse with two Gorgerat dated sender's cachets; traces of soiling though an attractive and unusual item of internal registered mail.
