1884 (20 June) unstamped envelope to Germany, marked "Los Islands 20/6 84" at foot and showing "T" h.s., manuscript "40" (pfennigs) in blue crayon and with Paid Liverpool Br. Packet c.d.s. (12.7) overcancelled "466" at Liverpool, the reverse with corrected unpaid Liverpool Br. Packet (12.7) and Stolp arrival (15.7) c.d.s.; minor perimeter faults though a very rare early item of mail from this office which was opened in 1892. Photo

Note: This office was noted as being a Customs Post in the Inland Mail list of 1882 and not on the Inland Mail list of 1899. No postmark is recorded and ceded to France in 1904
