A selection (12), comprising rates of 1d. (2) and 2d. (3) inland, 2½d., 3d. (October 1891) and 6d. (4) to U.K. and 9d. to Switzerland; also 1894 envelope from Brisbane addressed locally bearing 2d. and 1/- bisects, and pieces bearing 2d. and 4d. bisects; 1883-94 selection of four 1d. rate usages, comprising 1883 OHMS envelope from Townsville to The Commissioner of Railways at Brisbane and apparently taxed 2d., possibly because it exceeded weight, 1889 OHMS envelope from Brisbane addressed locally with framed "not known by/letter carriers" and "not called for" handstamps, 1893 top piece of "The Courier" to London with adhesive cancelled by "gpo" in bars, and 1890 envelope from Brisbane addressed locally with adhesive cancelled by "gpo" in oval of bars; condition rather mixed though an interesting group
