1869 (10 Nov.) envelope from Summerside to Cape Breton, bearing 1865 (Summer) white paper perf. 11¾ distinctive 3d. bright blue shade of this printing paying the single letter rate to Nova Scotia, tied by 10 bar oval, showing fine "summerside/p.e. island" datestamp (Type P50) and, on reverse, Prince Edward Island (Type P8), Pictou (13.11), New Glasgow (13.11), West Bay (16.11) and Port Hastings C.B. (16.11) datestamps; the envelope with addressee's name excised. Photo
