1895 (31 May) Post Office envelope registered from Old Calabar River to London, bearing 1894 (May) ½d. yellow-green, 1d. orange-vermilion (2) and 2d. lake all cancelled with "old calabar river" Code A c.d.s., large "R" h.s. alongside the adhesives and showing Old Calabar (31.5), Liverpool (15.7) and London (15.7) Registered d.s., all on face; the envelope torn at lower left corner through opening though a scarce and colourful franking. Also 1893 (23 Oct.) ½d. brown card from Old Calabar River to Buguma cancelled with superb Code A c.d.s.; very fine
