(†) The East African Currency Board, a specimen set of the ND (1958-60) Issue comprising 5 Shillings, no serial numbers, no signatures, brown; 10 Shillings, serial number A00000, four signatures, green; 20 Shillings, serial number A00000, four signatures, blue; and 100 Shillings, serial number A00000, four signatures, red, all portrait of Queen Elizabeth II at upper left, value at upper right, reverse plants in a geometric design, value in each corner, all overprinted SPECIMEN in red with two red De La Rue specimen ovals on obverse and reverse, one or two punch holes
(Pick 37s, 38s, 39s, 40s), the first ink date '1. 10. 58' and annotations in top margin, otherwise about uncirculated, the second mounting paper and thin in left margin, otherwise about uncirculated, the third good extremely fine, the fourth mounting paper and missing top left corner, otherwise good extremely fine, very scarce (4)
