Portugal, Filipe III (Philip IV of Spain) (1621-40), 4-Cruzados, 12.14g, undated, philipvs. d: g: rex. portvgalia. e(-), crowned shield, lb to left with six pellets in field, IIII to right with pellets at both ends of each numeral, and one pellet in each field above and below, rev. in hoc . signo vinces, cross with pellet at centre and single pellet at each extremity, five pellets in a square formation in angles, and a further three pellets around the edge of each angle (F.56; Gomes -, cf 6.01 for similar reverse; KM 18), four areas of flatness in the legends possibly where held in a mount, otherwise extremely fine, very rare
