Lieutenant Sidney Harold Schocktee, born 1892; joined the Middlesex Regiment (Territorial), 13.7.1909; commissioned Second Lieutenant, Royal West Kent Regiment, 16.3.1918; advanced Lieutenant, 16.11.1919; discharged 30.9.1921; re-engaged for service during the Second War, and was commissioned Second Lieutenant, 10th Battalion, 7th Rajputs, Indian Army, 20.6.1941; advanced Lieutenant, 1.10.1942.
