While far more Tankas are known of Megha Narayana than those of his predecessor, they were struck from many different dies, with variations in legend arrangement and ornamentation, so that individual varieties remain very rare. The legend on this and subsequent tankas include the epithet HĀchengsĀ VamŚaja, i.e. "belonging to the HĀ Tsung TsĀ clan.
