American Merchants Union Express Company, a pair of certificates for $100 shares, 186[8], no.536, and 186[9], no.5308, both signed by William Fargo as President, loaded wagon speeds away from dockside, classic dog logo at top left, black, the second with orange imprinted 5 cent revenue stamp in centre, the first with an adhesive revenue stamp only, hole and stamped cancelled, good very fine.
