Celtic, Catuvellauni, Tasciovanus, gold Stater, 5.51g, VER type, crossed wreath extending from two back to back crescents, v-e-r in small letters around centre of design, rev. warrior riding right holding carnyx, wheel above horse's head, exergual line below (Mack 156; BMC 1623-24; Rudd ABC 2568; S.218), small edge split, well-centred obverse, reverse a little off-centre but excellent detail of horseman and carnyx, an attractive example, good very fine, extremely rare
