Plate 38: RG-SI, block of six (3x2) with good to very large margins all round and showing a portion of the adjoining stamp at foot, tied by black Maltese Cross cancellations on entire letter, dated 31 Dec. 1843, from Stockland to Taunton, double ring "honiton" c.d.s. of 1 Jan. 1844 on the front, double ring "stockland" u.d.c. and "taunton" datestamp on reverse; fine. An extremely rare block on cover with Maltese Cross cancellations, and in superb condition. Photo
