Charles Whiting: The complete page from the 1843 Arts Journal featuring the embossed "paid" head in pink, essays number 25 and 26 in red and blue plus the fancy engine-turned design surrounded by an elaborate colourless relief vase design with various floral motifs within a green engine turned frame; the reverse with an elaborate design printed in green and red, "printed by/charles whiting/for protection against/forgery", some perimeter faults and tear into the embossed design at right sealed by tape. Attractive and scarce.
