Heard of the West India Regiment in Sierra Leone, routed through Funchal and upon arrival in Freetown redirected to Bermuda, bearing 1896-97 4d. and 1898-1908 1d. (2) cancelled by c.d.s. and showing Freetown c.d.s. (10.3), manuscript "t" in blue crayon and framed "t/5c" alongside, Funchal (13.2) and Hamilton (19.4) c.d.s. on reverse; most unusual. Photo
