1899 Mashonaland 1d. cards (2), the first (July), uprated with 1d., from Salisbury via Kopje to Cape Town, cancelled "I" in diamond of bars and showing manuscript "1d" (deleted) in blue crayon, despatch, transit and arrival c.d.s., all on face, the second (Oct.) from Umtali to East London with manuscript "1d" in blue crayon, despatch and arrival; c.d.s. all on face; both with faults though an unusual pair
