1868 (10 July) Officer´s envelope ex the "Poole" correspondence to England, bearing 1861-70 6d. bright orange-vermilion clearly cancelled "1" and countersigned by Staff Surgeon Major Poole himself, arrival c.d.s. (29.7) on reverse; small neat repairs and part of flap missing though the earliest recorded of the examples countersigned by the sender. Photo
