1897 (13 April) Round the World German 10pf. stationery card from Dobeln, via Moss (Norway) (18.4) with 20ö. added and cancelled Vaalerisma (19.4), Christiania (21.4), Singapore to Hong Kong marine sorter (25.5), Hiogo (24.6), Yokohama (29.6), San Francisco (17.7) with "T" in circle tax mark and U.S. 3c. green cancelled, Milwaukee (24.7), New York (5.8), Fortaleza (31.8 and 4.9), Pernambuco (5.9) and Dobeln arrival (4.10), there is also handstruck, "post cards to this address/cannot be forwarded" in red (applied in London); some peripheral faults including small section of the corner missing. The card bears a very clear strike of the British Post Office Hiogo, code "C" c.d.s. type F, which has been incorrectly dated 1879 (12 May). This is only the second recorded example of this postmark.
