2c. on 3c. carmine [4] with cracked "J" showing error surcharge shifted upwards with 1841 at foot, cancelled by 1891 (22 Jan.) first day c.d.s.; there is a paper split at foot, which does not show through to the surface, and tiny pin hole where the paper has been snagged, but these defects do not detract from the great rarity of this important stamp.
