Large Figures, Narrow Surcharge on First Printing
½c. on 1ca. orange-yellow, a block of four with interpanneau margin at right and includes the variety on basic stamp, tall "I" in "CHINA" (pane 7 [8]), the same stamp also has the variety "cent." to left, part original gum; light ageing and hinge remainders. A very scarce multiple, it is thought that there are only about five blocks recorded; this is particularly desirable with these positional varieties.
