1896 (14 July) envelope to London (side flap missing) bearing 9ca. grey-green tied by a light strike of Peking seal in blue and part French transit c.d.s. in red; sent through the French Post Office with "Chine" 25c. tied by "shang-hai/chine" c.d.s. with a second strike alongside, the reverse with Peking (blue) and Shanghai customs c.d.s.; light soiling.
