Bank of Israel ´Ideal figures´ series, a hand executed essay on board for a 50 lira, 1959, serial number 297420, red-brown and white, an allegorical couple representing ´the return of the exiles´, rural landscape in background, signature of Nebenzahl low right
(Pick 33 for type, Arkin page 89 for design) manuscript signature of Maxim Shamir low right, unique. The couple used as models for the note were Aryah Eyal and Tsuria Ronen, Polish and Yemeni respectively. They were according to Arkin friends of an aquaintance of the Shamir brothers.
