United Nations Emergency Force booklet, chits in a tan booklet in the denominations of 1 piastre (6 of 15), ND (ca. 1956), red serial number on booklet 210651, 2 piastres (5) and 5 piastres (3 of 5) and 10 piastres (2 of 5) to a total of 1 Egyptian pound, all with title U.N.E.F and MIDDLE EAST in text,
printed by the Globe ticket company, Philadelphia. Good extremely fine and a most unusual item, presumably for use in the NAAFI or similar by French and British forces during the Suez crisis.
