15563 Guardsman James Nockles, born Hackney, Middlesex; served with ´B´ Company, 1st Battalion Scots Guards during the Great War; killed in action on the Western Front, 30.1.1918, and is buried in Fampoux British Cemetery, France.

L/8356 Private George Nockles, born Hackney, Middlesex; served with ´D´ Company, 2nd Battalion Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) during the Great War; killed in action at Gallipoli, on the firt day of the Second Battle of Krithia, 5.6.1915, and is commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey.
