40342 Private Thomas Woodward, born Guisborough, Yorkshire; served with the Yorkshire Regiment and ´Y´ Company, 8th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers during the Great War; died of wounds on the Western Front, 29.9.1918, and is buried in Duisans British Cemetery, France.
