350 Corporal Charles Scott, born Dewsbury, Yorkshire, 1861; enlisted in the South Yorkshire Regiment, October 1882; served with the Regiment in India, September 1883 to December 1887; promoted Corporal, March 1888; transferred to the Army Reserve, March 1888; discharged, October 1894, after 12 years with the Colours.
