1865 Shanghai Large Dragon 2 Candareens Black, Chow Printing 1, narrow LPO, wove paper, used with AU 2 65 dater in Reddish brown (Chow SLP-2), earliest recorded date with the SLP-2 cancel is August 2 1865 (in Blue) according to Dr Chow and only three SPL-2 daters recorded in Reddish brown, two with readable dates, believed to be the earliest known dater on Shanghai Large Dragon issues and in Reddish brown, also marking this stamp the earliest known China stamp usage.
