Edward III, fourth coinage, 1351-77, post-treaty period, 1369-77, Noble, 6.37g, London / Calais group III mule, m.m. cross pattée, king, crowned, standing facing in ship without flag at stern, holding sword and shield, turrets with battlements, saltire stops, franc dns hib f aqvit, rev. floriate cross, arms extending from central panel containing letter e with pellet to right, crowned leopards in angles, small pellet either side of upper and lower lis at cross ends, no saltire after ibat (cf.
