A group of documents, showing notable signatures, including A.Newland, an order for the Victualling of the navy, manuscript signature, H.Hase, a letter to the Royal bank of Edinburgh dated 13 July 1919, manuscript signature, M.Marshall, a letter dated 20 march 1848 informing of new bank opening hours, printed signature, H.H.Asquith, a note with details of a holiday and forthcoming week of work, manuscript signature, John Bradbury, a War Savings Certificate, also a print of Doctor Syntax inspecting the bank, an engraving of A.Newland, a sheet of engine turnings showing a border of faces on paper backed with card, also an Anti-Hanging note and a small change note for one shilling, issued by Fox Brothers, the victualling order missing upper half, anti-hanging note repaired, very fine, Fox Brothers extremely fine, others toned and some small tears but balance very fine and a fascinating group (16) Estimate £ 150-250
