1840 (13 July) A21 addressed to Paris with a fair strike of "T.P./Hampstead NO" and cancelled by orange-red Maltese Cross with the despatch c.d.s. on the flap, a good strike of "insufficiently/stamped" in red and boxed "Returned for/´1/8´ Postage" also in red; there is another red mark at right and the possibility of a stamp having been removed. A rare Mulready to an overseas address
