Hanchette: Two crude pen and ink sketches of double-ringed circles bearing the legend, "post paid/v.r." with wax seal or wafer seal in centre, underneath is written, " ... which from its peculiar position will show the letter sorters without cost of time those which are and are not ...". This submission was posted to the Treasury and the address panel shows a fine strike of "T.P./Southampton" and handstruck "2" in black. Rare
